March 11, 2026 9:05 AM

Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN) announced that construction has resumed on its Wynn Al Marjan Island resort project in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, following a temporary suspension.

The company stated it remains in communication with both U.S. and UAE governments to make informed decisions regarding the project. Construction teams have implemented safety and security measures for all on-site workers.

The resort's design and development team continues overseeing construction, architecture, and design work, while the executive team proceeds with operational strategy and planning. Wynn has provided employees the option to work from abroad if recommended by their home embassies.

The company expressed confidence in the UAE's defense capabilities and noted that business operations continue normally for broad segments of the local population. Wynn stated it will continue monitoring the situation and assess any additional project impacts as they develop.

The information comes from a company press release issued March 11, 2026.
