Baidu launches DuClaw service for instant OpenClaw access
Baidu Inc. (NASDAQ: BIDU) announced the launch of DuClaw, a zero-deployment service that provides instant access to the OpenClaw agent platform through Baidu AI Cloud.
The service is available through a web interface and includes pre-built Baidu skills such as Baidu Search, Baidu Baike, and Baidu Scholar. DuClaw supports multiple foundation models and eliminates the need for users to configure servers or connect model API keys.
The company plans to integrate DuClaw with enterprise collaboration platforms including WeCom, DingTalk, and Feishu. The service runs on Baidu AI Cloud's infrastructure as a fully managed offering.
Baidu is offering a promotional price of RMB 17.8 per month (approximately $2.50) for first-time users during March. The launch follows Baidu AI Cloud's February introduction of a Rapid Deployment Solution for OpenClaw, which allowed visual configuration-based deployment.
OpenClaw is an open-source agent platform that enables information retrieval, workflow coordination, and cross-application actions. The platform has attracted developer interest but faced adoption challenges related to environment configuration and model integration.
Baidu integrated OpenClaw into its flagship Baidu App during Chinese New Year, making the technology available to approximately 700 million monthly active users. The company stated the integration addressed common deployment barriers for users seeking to implement the platform.
The announcement represents Baidu AI Cloud's continued efforts to simplify access to AI agent technology through managed services and streamlined deployment options.
