Hexcel Corporation (NYSE: HXL) congratulated Dassault Aviation on the rollout of the Falcon 10X business jet. The milestone represents progress for the next-generation aircraft program, according to a company statement.

Hexcel was selected in 2022 to supply structural prepregs for the entire wing of the Falcon 10X program. The company provides M21E/IMA prepreg materials developed in collaboration with Dassault Aviation's technical teams.

"Our partnership with Dassault exemplifies how Hexcel's expertise in lightweight, advanced carbon fiber composites drive the next generation of high-performance aircraft," said Tom Gentile, Chairman, CEO & President of Hexcel. "We are proud to support Dassault in ensuring the durability, efficiency, and competitive edge of the Falcon 10X throughout its service life with a full composite wing."

The advanced prepreg materials are designed to deliver weight-saving properties, stiffness, and fatigue-resistance for the Falcon 10X wings. Hexcel stated the solution provides performance characteristics and supply chain security for the business jet program.

Hexcel Corporation manufactures advanced lightweight composites technology, including carbon fiber, specialty reinforcements, prepregs, honeycomb, resins, and composite structures for commercial aerospace, defense and space, and industrial applications.
