Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE: HIMS) announced the appointment of Kathryn Beiser as Chief Communications Officer. Beiser will lead external and internal communications for the health and wellness platform as it pursues domestic and international expansion.

In her new role, Beiser will report to CEO Andrew Dudum and focus on building the Hims & Hers brand while communicating the company's vision to stakeholders.

Beiser previously served as Chief Communications Officer at Discover, Kaiser Permanente, and Eli Lilly and Company. She also led the global corporate practice at Edelman. Her background includes launching and building corporate brands in regulated industries and guiding companies through growth phases.

"From my very first conversations with the team at Hims & Hers, I saw an incredible opportunity to work with smart, values-driven leaders who are passionate about putting customers first," Beiser said in a company statement.

CEO Andrew Dudum said Beiser brings industry experience and communications expertise needed for the company's current phase. "She is a passionate, roll-up-her-sleeves kind of leader who brings a rare combination of deep industry experience, communications expertise, and the energy to bring our story to life," Dudum stated.

The appointment comes as Hims & Hers continues its expansion efforts in both domestic and international markets, according to the company's announcement.
