SolarEdge CFO Alperovitz to step down in June 2026
SolarEdge Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: SEDG) announced that Chief Financial Officer Asaf Alperovitz will step down from his position to pursue a CFO role at a public company outside the solar energy industry.
Alperovitz will continue serving as CFO through June 9, 2026, to support ongoing operations and the leadership transition. The Board of Directors has initiated a process to identify a replacement.
The company stated that Alperovitz's departure is not related to any financial or accounting issue or disagreement over company operations, policies, or practices.
"On behalf of our executive team and the Board of Directors, we thank Asaf for his leadership and contributions in reinforcing SolarEdge's financial foundation and advancing the company towards sustained profitability in 2026," said CEO Shuki Nir.
Alperovitz expressed gratitude to his team and the board, stating he leaves "holding SolarEdge in the highest regard" and is "enormously proud of the strides we've made."
SolarEdge reaffirmed its financial guidance for the first quarter, as provided on February 18, 2026. The company indicated it expects 2026 to be a transformational year as it works toward profitable growth.
