Lahontan Gold appoints Antony Rowe and Miranda Werstiuk to board

Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV: LG) announced the appointment of Antony Rowe and Miranda Werstiuk as independent directors to its board of directors. Josh Serfass and Max Pluss stepped down from their director positions in conjunction with the new appointments.



Antony Rowe serves as managing director of Arrowpoint Mining Capital, an independent consulting and investment advisory business focused on the mining and critical minerals sector. He previously worked for five years at Resource Capital Funds, a mining and metals private equity group, and spent time in mining finance and investments at Investec Bank. Rowe qualified as a solicitor and worked in private practice with Dentons law firm.



Miranda Werstiuk brings over 30 years of global experience in resource finance, specializing in equity, debt, and alternative financing structures. She currently serves as a board member of Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. and holds memberships in the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and Women in Mining organizations in Toronto and the UK. Werstiuk holds degrees from Queen's University and McMaster University.



Lahontan Gold's flagship Santa Fe Mine project in Nevada had past production of 359,202 ounces of gold and 702,067 ounces of silver between 1988 and 1995. The project currently has an indicated mineral resource of 1,539,000 oz gold equivalent and an inferred mineral resource of 411,000 oz gold equivalent, according to a Canadian National Instrument 43-101 compliant assessment.
