Transcat names Jaime Irick as new CEO effective March 2026
Transcat Inc. (NASDAQ: TRNS) announced the appointment of Jaime Irick as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 29, 2026. The Board of Directors also appointed Irick to the company's board, where he will serve on the Executive Committee.
Irick will succeed Lee D. Rudow, who is retiring from his CEO role and board position. Rudow will remain as a senior advisor to the company through March 2027.
Irick most recently served as CEO of Pittsburgh Paints Company, where he led a $2 billion carve-out from PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG). He previously held senior vice president positions at PPG Industries, overseeing $3 billion in revenue and more than 7,000 employees, and completed the $1.1 billion integration of Ennis-Flint.
Prior roles include President of Life Fitness at Brunswick Corporation and various positions at General Electric, including President and CEO of GE Lighting Solutions/LED. Irick holds a degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE: ITW).

Transcat provides calibration, reliability, and maintenance optimization services primarily to highly regulated industries including life sciences, aerospace and defense, and energy and utilities. The company operates calibration service centers across the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Ireland.
