Keysight receives GTI award for AI device testing solution
Keysight Technologies Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) received the 2026 Innovative Technology Breakthrough Award from the Global Technology Association of InfoComm for its AI Device Testbed. The award was presented at the GTI Awards Ceremony during Mobile World Congress 2026.
The AI Device Testbed enables validation of artificial intelligence-enabled devices in 5G-Advanced networks within laboratory conditions. The solution addresses challenges manufacturers face when testing AI-driven device behavior under real-world network conditions before commercial deployment.
The testbed reproduces deployment scenarios and provides automated analysis of performance indicators including throughput, mobility, battery efficiency, and user experience. It allows customers to conduct benchmarking of AI-driven capabilities and scale evaluation across datasets and model development processes.
"This award recognizes a major shift in wireless. AI is moving from the application layer into both the network and the device," said Peng Cao, Vice President and General Manager of Keysight's Wireless Test Group. "Keysight's AI Device Testbed gives the ecosystem a repeatable way to validate AI-driven performance under realistic 5G-Advanced conditions."
The solution aims to help customers reduce development cycles and research costs while accelerating delivery of AI-optimized 5G-Advanced devices. Keysight states the testbed also prepares for the industry transition toward AI-native 6G systems.
Keysight is based in Santa Rosa, California, and provides design, emulation, and test solutions for communications, industrial automation, aerospace and defense, automotive, semiconductor, and electronics markets.
