Adobe launches Photoshop, Express and Acrobat apps in ChatGPT
Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ: ADBE) launched Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Express and Adobe Acrobat applications within ChatGPT, making its creative and productivity tools available to ChatGPT's 800 million weekly users.
The integration allows users to edit photos, create designs and manage documents directly within ChatGPT's conversational interface. Users can access Adobe's applications by typing the app name followed by instructions, such as "Adobe Photoshop, help me blur the background of this image."
Adobe Photoshop for ChatGPT enables users to adjust specific parts of images, modify settings like brightness and contrast, and apply creative effects while maintaining image quality. Adobe Express allows users to browse professional design templates, customize text and images, and animate designs within the chat interface. Adobe Acrobat for ChatGPT provides PDF editing capabilities, text and table extraction, file organization and compression features.
"We're thrilled to bring Photoshop, Adobe Express and Acrobat directly into ChatGPT, combining our creative innovations with the ease of ChatGPT to make creativity accessible for everyone," said David Wadhwani, president of digital media at Adobe.
The applications are available free to ChatGPT users globally on desktop, web and iOS platforms. Adobe Express for ChatGPT is also available on Android, with Photoshop and Acrobat support for Android coming later.
Users can transition from ChatGPT to Adobe's native applications to access additional features while maintaining their work progress. The launch builds on Adobe's development of conversational AI experiences and follows the company's earlier introduction of AI Assistants for Photoshop and Adobe Express.
