Hims & Hers Health Inc. (NYSE: HIMS) announced it is in discussions with Novo Nordisk A/S (NYSE: NVO) to potentially offer Wegovy injections and an oral version of Wegovy through its platform, pending FDA approval of the oral formulation.

The company emphasized that the discussions remain ongoing and no definitive agreement has been executed. Hims & Hers stated there is a possibility that no agreement may be reached with Novo Nordisk.

The telehealth company noted that if a definitive agreement is executed, the final terms may differ from current expectations. The company indicated it may voluntarily disclose agreement terms if reached, though it may not be legally obligated to do so depending on the agreement's structure.

The potential partnership would expand consumer access to Wegovy treatments through the Hims & Hers platform, subject to prescriber recommendations. Wegovy is Novo Nordisk's semaglutide injection approved for weight management.
