ADP launches weekly employment data reports alongside monthly releases

October 28, 2025 8:16 AM

ADP (NASDAQ: ADP) announced it will begin releasing weekly preliminary estimates of U.S. private sector employment changes each Tuesday, starting October 28, 2025. The weekly reports will supplement the company's existing monthly employment report.

The preliminary estimate shows an average increase of 14,250 jobs in the four weeks ending October 11, 2025, according to the ADP National Employment Report produced by ADP Research in collaboration with the Stanford Digital Economy Lab.

The weekly data will provide a four-week moving average of private employment changes based on ADP's payroll data from more than 26 million private-sector employees. The reports will be released at 8:15 a.m. ET each Tuesday.

ADP will continue publishing its comprehensive monthly employment report on the first Wednesday of each month. The monthly report includes detailed industry, firm-size and geographical employment measures, both seasonally and non-seasonally adjusted. ADP Pay Insights, capturing nearly 15 million individual pay change observations, will remain part of the monthly release.

"ADP's near real-time employment data, released weekly, will now provide an even clearer picture of the labor market at this critical time for the economy," said Dr. Nela Richardson, chief economist at ADP.

The October 2025 monthly report will be released November 5, 2025, at 8:15 a.m. ET. The next weekly preliminary estimate will be available November 11, 2025, at the same time.

ADP has provided labor market data through its National Employment Report for nearly two decades. The company processes payroll data for over 1.1 million clients across more than 140 countries.
