September 29, 2025 7:59 AM

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has invested in Rehuman, a UK-based insurtech startup focused on customer engagement in the insurance industry. The investment was made through Accenture Ventures.

Rehuman operates an AI-powered engagement platform and digital wallet designed for insurance brokers and policyholders. The platform provides automated alerts on renewals, potential policy lapses, and personalized insurance recommendations to help brokers improve customer engagement and retention.

The digital wallet allows policyholders to upload, manage, and store various insurance policies including auto, health, and life insurance in one location. The platform uses AI to analyze coverage details, identify gaps, and compare alternative insurance plans.

"Insurance companies today need digital tools that don't just inform, but genuinely empower policyholders," said Khalid Lahraoui, Accenture's Insurance industry group lead. "Our investment in Rehuman's AI-powered wallet goes beyond digital convenience – it transforms how insurers and brokers engage with policyholders, creating more seamless, personalized and meaningful experiences."

Aaron Sherwood, Founder and CEO of Rehuman, stated that the company aims to provide brokers, managing general agents, and insurance companies with competitive advantages through its AI-powered platform.

The investment will enable Rehuman to scale operations and integrate AI into insurer and broker platforms. Rehuman will join Accenture Ventures' Project Spotlight, a vertical accelerator for data and AI companies that provides access to Accenture's expertise and enterprise clients.

The companies did not disclose the investment terms, according to the press release statement.
