Serve Robotics Inc. (NASDAQ: SERV) announced a partnership with Little Caesars to deliver pizza orders using autonomous sidewalk robots through the Uber Eats platform in Los Angeles.

The collaboration allows Little Caesars customers in Serve's Los Angeles delivery area to receive orders via autonomous robots. Serve's robotic delivery service already operates in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and Atlanta through Uber Eats, with additional U.S. cities planned.

Serve's third-generation robots feature an expanded cargo bin capable of carrying four large 16-inch pizzas along with Caesar Wings, Italian Cheese Bread and beverages while maintaining food temperature during transport.

"Delivering for a beloved national chain like Little Caesars is another opportunity for us to show how we help merchants grow and give consumers a better delivery experience," said Ali Kashani, CEO of Serve Robotics.

Little Caesars ranks as the third-largest pizza chain in the United States. The company's VP of Innovation Trish Heusel stated the partnership aligns with the brand's commitment to technology-forward solutions while reducing environmental impact.

Megan Jensen, Head of Autonomous Delivery Operations at Uber Eats, said the partnership aims to make delivery "easier, more reliable, and more sustainable" by combining technology with convenience.

The autonomous delivery service is available through the Uber Eats app for participating Little Caesars locations in the Los Angeles area. Serve Robotics has a contract to deploy up to 2,000 delivery robots on the Uber Eats platform across multiple U.S. markets.

Serve Robotics was spun off from Uber in 2021 as an independent company and reports completing tens of thousands of deliveries for partners including Uber Eats and 7-Eleven.
