RingCentral Inc. (NYSE: RNG) announced the launch of AIR Everywhere, a standalone version of its AI Receptionist that works with any phone system, including third-party and on-premises telephony systems.

The company also added new capabilities to its existing AI Receptionist service, including appointment scheduling with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, and support for British and Australian English, Spanish, and French languages. The service will become available in the UK and Australia by the end of September.

RingCentral reported that its AI Receptionist customer base tripled in a single quarter, with more than 3,000 businesses currently using the service. The AI phone agent handles and routes customer calls, filters spam calls, and answers caller questions around the clock.

"We've tripled our customer base in a single quarter, with more than 3,000 businesses now actively relying on AIR to transform their communications," said Kira Makagon, President and COO of RingCentral.

AIR Everywhere is priced at $59 monthly with 100 minutes included. Additional 100-minute bundles are available for purchase. In the UK and Australia, the service will cost 32 GBP and 62 AUD respectively, with additional minute bundles available.

The company cited customer examples including Axis Integrated Mental Health, which reported a 60% increase in new patient intakes using the AI receptionist, translating to an additional $1.7 million in revenue. The Detroit Pistons reported saving 20% of daily work with AI-powered transcriptions.

RingCentral identified healthcare, professional services, construction and real estate, financial services, and retail as the top vertical categories showing traction with the AI receptionist service.
