Noodles & Company (NDLS) Misses Q1 EPS by 9c, provides guidance
Noodles & Company (NASDAQ: NDLS) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.20), $0.09 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.11). Revenue for the quarter came in at $123.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $119.86 million.
GUIDANCE:
Noodles & Company sees FY2025 revenue of $503-512 million, versus the consensus of $505.7 million.
Restaurant level contribution margins of 12.0% to 14.0% (previously 12.5% to 14%);
General and administrative expenses of $49 million to $52 million, inclusive of stock-based compensation expense of approximately $3.7 million;
Depreciation and amortization of $27 million to $29 million;
Net interest expense of $8 million to $10 million;
New restaurant openings: two company-owned;
Restaurant closures: 13 to 17 company-owned restaurants (previously 12 to 15) and four franchised restaurants; and
Capital expenditures of $11 million to $13 million.
