Travelers (TRV) PT Raised to $275 at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods
Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analyst Meyer Shields raised the price target on Travelers (NYSE: TRV) to $275.00 (from $268.00) while maintaining a Market Perform rating.
The analyst comments "We maintain our Market Perform rating on TRV’s shares and raise our target price to $275 (11.2x our 2026E EPS) from $268 following its 4Q24 earnings report and conference call. We lower our 2025E EPS to $21.75 from $22.20 (with 1Q25E California wildfire losses outpacing lower core loss ratios) and raise our 2026E EPS to $24.60 from $24.35, assuming lower core and catastrophe loss ratios partly offset by slightly higher expenses. We think TRV’s current valuation reasonably balances its many underwriting strengths and investment income growth against its largely-complete personal lines margin improvement prospects and likely-fading near-term reserve releases."
