After-hours movers: Apple, Amazon, Intel and more
After-Hours Stock Movers:
Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) rose 5% after it reported strong third quarter results. Net sales increased 11% to $158.9 billion in the third quarter, compared with $143.1 billion in third quarter 2023.
Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) fell 1% despite publishing results for its fourth quarter that beat consensus estimates. The Company posted quarterly revenue of $94.9 billion, up 6 percent year-over-year.
Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) rose 13% after it issued guidance for the fourth quarter of year that was ahead of consensus. The chipmaker also approved a series of cost cuts and a reduction of headcount by 16,500.
Atlassian (NASDAQ: TEAM) rose 18% after it reported strong quarterly results and guidance. Subscription revenue was $1,132 million, up 33% year-over-year.
LendingTree (NASDAQ: TREE) rose 5% after beating estimates on the top and bottom line in the third quarter and lifting guidance.
