Jefferies analyst Brent Thill reiterated a Buy rating and $225.00 price target on Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN)
The analyst comments "We visited the first AMZN Fresh store in Northern California that opened on 8/22. Our experience was positive, with self-check out carts that eliminate the old school manual process, and a great selection of grocery items. On the other hand, consumer reviews have been mixed, and there are open questions as to how fast AMZN wants to expand this format. Investors remain wary of expansion plans for low-growth, low-margin physical retail. Maintain Buy, $225 PT."
