Dollar General (NYSE: DG) reported Q1 EPS of $1.65, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $1.58. Revenue for the quarter came in at $9.91 billion versus the consensus estimate of $9.89 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Dollar General sees FY2025 EPS of $6.80-$7.55, versus the consensus of $7.25. Net sales growth in the range of approximately 6.0% to 6.7% Same-store sales growth in the range of 2.0% to 2.7%
Dollar General sees Q2 2025 EPS of $1.70-$1.85, versus the consensus of $1.92. For the 13-week quarter ending August 2, 2024, the Company currently expects same-store sales growth in the low 2% range
