After-hours movers: CAVA Group, Robinhood, American Airlines and more
After-Hours Stock Movers:
CAVA Group (NYSE: CAVA) declined 6% after it issued first quarter earnings that failed to impress investors despite beating consensus estimates. The Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant reported same restaurant sales growth of only 2.3%, although it raised its full year comp growth forecast from 3% to 5% to 4.5% to 6.5%.
American Airlines (NASDAQ: AAL) declined 4% after it lowered second quarter EPS guidance. It also lowered guidance for adjusted operating margin and CASM.
Robinhood (NASDAQ: HOOD) rose 3% after it authorized a $1 billion share repurchase program,. The company said the large buyback shows management and the board’s confidence in Robinhood’s financial strength and future growth prospects.
Digital Turbine (NASDAQ: APPS) declined 3% after it published quarterly revenue that missed estimates. Management said financial results reported today fail to reflect much of the real-time progress that the company is making.
Box (NYSE: BOX) rose 2% after results beat estimates on the top and bottom line and it raised guidance.
Ooma (NYSE: OOMA) rose 18% after first quarter results beat estimates and it issued a strong forecast for the second quarter and full year.
