After-hours movers: Oracle surges, Acadia Pharma slumps
After-Hours Stock Movers:
Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) stock rose 10% after it reported revenue that matched consensus expectations and a slight beat on EPS last quarter.
Acadia Pharma (NASDAQ: ACAD) declined 15% after announcing top-line results from the Phase 3 ADVANCE-2 trial evaluating pimavanserin for the treatment of negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Pimavanserin did not demonstrate a statistically significant improvement over placebo.
Asana, Inc. (NYSE: ASAN) edged 1% higher after slightly beating EPS and revenue forecasts in the final quarter of 2023.
Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) declined 6% after the ski resort owner published disappointing results for its second quarter.
Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (NYSE: AAP) rose 3%, adding to earlier gains, after it confirmed rumors it entered into a cooperation agreement with activist hedge funds Third Point and Saddle Point Management.
