American Express (AXP) Misses Q4 EPS by 2c, Guidance Tops Views
American Express (NYSE: AXP) reported Q4 EPS of $2.62, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $2.64. Revenue for the quarter came in at $15.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $16 billion.
GUIDANCE:
American Express sees FY2024 EPS of $12.65-$13.15, versus the consensus of $12.40.
- “Based on the momentum in our business, we are providing full-year 2024 guidance for revenue growth of 9 percent to 11 percent and EPS of $12.65 to $13.15. Looking ahead, we continue to run the business with a focus on our aspiration of revenue growth of 10 percent plus and mid-teens EPS growth.”
