AT&T (T) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c, Revenue Beats
AT&T (NYSE: T) reported Q3 EPS of $0.64, ex-items, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.62. Revenue for the quarter came in at $30.35 billion versus the consensus estimate of $30.2 billion.
Cash from operating activities from continuing operations in the third quarter of 2023 was $10.3 billion, up $0.2 billion when compared to 2022, reflecting operational growth and timing of working capital, including lower device payments partially offset by lower receivable sales. Capital expenditures in the third quarter of 2023 were $4.6 billion, and when including $1.0 billion cash paid for vendor financing, capital investment was $5.6 billion, compared to prior-year third quarter capital investment of $6.8 billion (capital expenditures of $5.9 billion and vendor financing of $0.9 billion).
