After-hours movers: PENN surges on EPSN sports betting deal, Upstart sinks following results

After-Hours Stock Movers:

PENN Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq: PENN) 23% HIGHER; announced that it has entered into a transformative, exclusive U.S. online sports betting (OSB) agreement with ESPN, Inc. and ESPN Enterprises, Inc.

Doximity, Inc. (NYSE: DOCS) 20% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.19, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $108.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $107 million.

Upstart Holdings (NASDAQ: UPST) 19% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.06, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter came in at $135.77 million versus the consensus estimate of $135.21 million.

Celsius Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CELH) 14% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.52, $0.21 better than the analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $326 million versus the consensus estimate of $276.76 million.

Marqeta, Inc. (NASDAQ: MQ) 13% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.11), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.10). Revenue for the quarter came in at $231 million versus the consensus estimate of $219.46 million.

DraftKings Inc. (NASDAQ: DKNG) 9% LOWER; falls on ESPN's sports betting deal with PENN.

Lyft (NASDAQ: LYFT) 5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.16, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.02 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.02 billion. Lyft sees Q3 2023 revenue of $1.13-1.15 billion, versus the consensus of $1.09 billion.
