- Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: META) shares rose 15% after the Facebook and Instagram parent reported better-than-expected results and user growth and a second-quarter revenue forecast that was better than consensus estimates.
- Hasbro Inc (NASDAQ: HAS) shares rose 13% after the toy maker known for its Dungeons&Dragons franchise beat expectations on profit in the first quarter.
- Southwest Airlines Company (NYSE: LUV) shares weakened 4.7% after the carrier reported a wider-than-expected loss for the first quarter. Rival carrier American Airlines Group (NASDAQ: AAL) shares rose 2.6% after it beat expectations for the quarter.
- Crocs Inc (NASDAQ: CROX) shares fell 18.5% after the casual shoemaker offered second-quarter and full-year guidance that was below consensus on weakness at its Hey Dude brand.
AbbVie Inc (NYSE: ABBV) shares fell 7.7% after the pharmaceutical maker reported a 25% drop in sales of its arthritis therapy Humira as fresh competition entered the market.
