- AutoNation Inc (NYSE: AN) shares rose 9.6% after the car dealer beat expectations for the recent quarter and cited stronger demand for new vehicles. Revenue rose 2% as average selling prices increased.
DraftKings Inc (NASDAQ: DKNG) shares rose 14.7% after the gambling company reported a surge in quarterly revenue to $855 million from $473M a year earlier. Revenue is getting a boost as more states legalize mobile and online sports betting.

Moderna Inc (NASDAQ: MRNA) shares dipped 4.4% after mixed results from a test of its experimental flu vaccine based on messenger RNA technology. The test didn't prove its vaccine was at least as effective as already approved vaccines.
