NextEra Energy (NEE) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c
NextEra Energy (NYSE: NEE) reported Q2 EPS of $0.81, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.75. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.18 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.31 billion.
GUIDANCE:
NextEra Energy sees FY2022 EPS of $2.80-$2.90, versus the consensus of $2.85.
NextEra Energy expects adjusted earnings per share to be in the ranges of $2.98 to $3.13 and $3.23 to $3.43, respectively. For 2025, NextEra Energy expects to grow 6% to 8% off the 2024 adjusted earnings per share expectations range, which translates to a range of $3.45 to $3.70 per share. NextEra Energy also continues to expect to grow its dividends per share at an approximately 10% rate per year through at least 2024, off a 2022 base.
