Vail Resorts (MTN) Reports Q2 Miss, Provides Guidance
Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) reported its Q2 results, with EPS of $5.47 coming in worse than the consensus estimate of $5.70. Revenue grew 32.4% year-over-year to $906.5 million, lower than the consensus estimate of $960.24 million.
Net income was $223.4 million in Q2/22, compared to $147.8 million in Q2/21, with the increase being primarily driven by the greater impact of COVID-19 and related limitations and restrictions on results in the prior year. Net income in Q2/20 was $206.4 million.
The Company updated its full 2022-year outlook and is now expecting Resort Reported EBITDA to range from $813 million to $837 million
Shares of MTN are down 26% year-to-date.
