Box (BOX) Stock Gains 6% on Q4 Beat and Raise
Box (NYSE: BOX) share price rose more than 6% after-hours following the company’s reported Q4 results, with EPS of $0.24 coming in better than the consensus estimate of $0.23.
Quarterly revenue grew 17% year-over-year to $233.4 million, above the consensus estimate of $228.79 million. The remaining performance obligations as of the end of the year were $1.1 billion, which represents a 19% year-over-year increase. Billings grew 9% year-over-year to $337.9 million.
The company expects Q1/23 EPS to range from $0.24 to $0.25, compared to the consensus of $0.24, and revenue to range from $233 million to $235 million, compared to the consensus of $230 million.
For the full 2023-year, the company expects EPS of $1.10-$1.14, compared to the consensus of $1.10, and revenue of $990-996 million, compared to the consensus of $980 million.
