Costco (NASDAQ: COST) reported Q1 results, with EPS coming in at $2.98, better than the consensus estimate of $2.67. Total quarterly revenues were $50,363 million, up from $43,208 million for the same period last year.

Total comparable sales for the quarter rose 15%, or 9.8% adjusted which excludes the impacts from changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange. In the U.S., comparable sale rose 14.9%, or 9.9% adjusted.
