Loop Capital analyst Laura Champine lowered the price target on SmileDirectClub Inc. (NASDAQ: SDC) to $4.00 (from $6.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.

The analyst stated "We are adjusting our estimates lower to account for the Q3 miss and lower full year guidance. Our sales estimate is $117 million below prior consensus for 2021. Our bottom-line cuts are also extensive, as we see pressure on GM, marketing, and G&A expense relative to our prior estimates."
