Textron (TXT) Tops Q2 EPS by 16c; Raises Outlook
Textron (NYSE: TXT) reported Q2 EPS of $0.81, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.19 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.92 billion.
“In the quarter, we saw higher revenues across all our manufacturing segments, good execution with solid margin performance at Systems, Bell and Aviation, and strong cash generation,” said Textron Chairman and CEO Scott C. Donnelly.
GUIDANCE:
Textron sees FY2021 EPS of $3.00-$3.20, up $0.20 from the prior outlook and versus the consensus of $3.13.
