Surface Oncology (Nasdaq: SURF) 18.9% HIGHER; announced today it has entered into a clinical trial collaboration with Merck, known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, through a subsidiary, to evaluate the safety and efficacy of combining Surfaces SRF388, an investigational antibody therapy targeting IL-27, with Mercks KEYTRUDA® (pembrolizumab), the first anti-PD-1 therapy approved in the United States. This combination will be studied as a component of the first-in-human Phase 1 study of SRF388 and will be evaluated in patients with solid tumors, with a focus on patients with liver cancer and kidney cancer.
The9 Limited (Nasdaq: NCTY) 18.2% HIGHER; signed three legally binding Memorandums of Understanding (collectively the "MOUs") with three unrelated Bitcoin mining machine owners to purchase Bitcoin mining machines by the issuance of Class A ordinary shares. This batch of Bitcoin mining machines includes different brands such as AvalonMiner, AntMiner and WhatsMiner, with an additional total number of 10,252 units and an additional total hash rate of approximately 192PH/S. According to the MOUs, The9 will issue approximately 5,883,750 Class A ordinary shares (equivalent to 196,125 ADSs) to the sellers based on The9 share price of US$38.51 prior to the MOUs, with a lock up period of 6 months. The number of Class A ordinary shares to be issued is subject to certain price adjustment mechanisms to be assessed 6 months after the signing of the definitive agreements. The9 will designate an independent valuation firm to conduct examination and assessment of the Bitcoin mining machine fair market value, and will make adjustment to the number of Class A ordinary shares to be issued if needed.

MoneyGram International (NYSE: MGI) 8% LOWER; March 7, 2021, MoneyGram International, Inc. and Ripple Labs Inc. signed an agreement to terminate, effective immediately, the commercial agreement between the parties that was originally entered into in June of 2019. As previously disclosed, the Company had ceased transacting under the commercial agreement in early December 2020. The Company did not resume transacting under the commercial agreement from that period through the termination date and as such, will not receive any market development fees in 2021.
