Sanmina (SANM) Tops Q1 EPS by 21c, Revenues Miss; Offers 2Q EPS/Revenue Outlook

Sanmina (NASDAQ: SANM) reported Q1 EPS of $1.02, $0.21 better than the analyst estimate of $0.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.76 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.77 billion.

"Fiscal 2021 is off to a good start. Our continued focus on driving operational efficiencies and ability to provide increased value to our customers are evident in our solid financial results for the quarter," stated Jure Sola, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sanmina Corporation.

"Our outlook for the second quarter reflects relatively stable demand across our customer base and takes into account typical seasonality. GUIDANCE:

Sanmina sees Q2 2021 EPS of $0.76-$0.86, versus the consensus of $0.74. Sanmina sees Q2 2021 revenue of $1.65-1.75 billion, versus the consensus of $1.71 billion.
