Dorman Products (DORM) Tops Q1 EPS by 6c
Dorman Products (NASDAQ: DORM) reported Q1 EPS of $0.71, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $257.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $238.04 million.
2020 GuidanceIn late March, Dorman began experiencing softening customer demand as a result of government-imposed restrictions designed to slow the spread of COVID-19 and expects those trends to continue through the second quarter and potentially longer. Dorman expects demand to continue to be soft while government-imposed restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19 remain in place. However, it is difficult to determine the full impact that the pandemic will have on the overall demand environment and Dorman’s operations. Therefore, the Company previously withdrew its guidance for fiscal 2020 and is not in a position to issue updated fiscal 2020 guidance at this time.
