Tenet Healthcare (THC) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c, Revenues Beat; Offers FY20 Revenue Guidance Above Consensus, Provides FY20 EPS Outlook

Tenet Healthcare (NYSE: THC) reported Q4 EPS of $0.99, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.98. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.81 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.76 billion.

“Our financial results for 2019 support the sustainable changes we have made across each of our operating segments,” said Ronald A. Rittenmeyer, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “We closed the year with a very strong fourth quarter and believe our focus on our patients, our physicians and all stakeholders — supported by underlying enhancements to technology, a renewed dedication to customer service and a keen eye on administrative expenses — are driving our growth and positioning us well for 2020 and future years.”

GUIDANCE:

Tenet Healthcare sees Q1 2020 EPS of $0.42-$0.75, versus the consensus of $0.51. Tenet Healthcare sees Q1 2020 revenue of $4.6-4.8 billion, versus the consensus of $4.68 billion.

Tenet Healthcare sees FY2020 EPS of $2.69-$3.35, versus the consensus of $2.94. Tenet Healthcare sees FY2020 revenue of $19.1-19.5 billion, versus the consensus of $18.99 billion.
