Activision Blizzard (ATVI) Misses Q4 Revs, Guides Q1 Revs Above Views

Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ: ATVI) reported Q4 EPS of $0.62, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $1.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.99 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.67 billion.

“Our fourth quarter results exceeded our prior outlook for both revenue and earnings per share,” said Bobby Kotick, Chief Executive Officer of Activision Blizzard. “Our recent Call of Duty® success illustrates the scale of our growth potential, as we expanded the community to more players in more countries on more platforms than ever before. With our strong content pipeline across our franchises and momentum in mobile, esports, and advertising, we look forward to continuing to delight our players, fans and stakeholders in 2020 and beyond.”

GUIDANCE:

Activision Blizzard sees Q1 2020 EPS of $0.66, versus the consensus of $0.39. Activision Blizzard sees Q1 2020 revenue of $1.64 billion, versus the consensus of $1.35 billion.

Activision Blizzard sees FY2020 EPS of $2.22, versus the consensus of $2.21. Activision Blizzard sees FY2020 revenue of $6.45 billion, versus the consensus of $6.37 billion.
