Texas Instruments (TXN) Tops Q4 EPS by 10c, Offers Q1 Guidance
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) reported Q4 EPS of $1.12, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $1.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.35 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.22 billion.
GUIDANCE:
Texas Instruments sees Q1 2020 EPS of $0.96-$1.14, versus the consensus of $1.03. Texas Instruments sees Q1 2020 revenue of $3.12-3.38 billion, versus the consensus of $3.2 billion.
- "TI's first quarter outlook is for revenue in the range of $3.12 billion to $3.38 billion, and earnings per share between $0.96 and $1.14, which includes an estimated $20 million discrete tax benefit. We continue to expect our 2020 annual operating tax rate to be about 15%."
