Cowen analyst Matthew Ramsay reiterated an Outperform rating and $36.00 price target on AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) after attending, CEO, Lisa Su's Computex Keynote. The presentation highlighted several 7nm products set to launch over the next 6 months across all of AMD's served markets and the analyst anticipates these products will drive above-consensus growth, share gains and margin expansion.

The analyst stated "2019 is the year when AMD and Intel are set to compete on a more even manufacturing footing across both the PC and server CPU markets. With 7nm Ryzen 3 PC and Rome server CPUs launching in mid-2019, Intel will no longer be able to rely on its n-node silicon advantage, and will instead lean on its incumbency and breadth of silicon as its 10nm chips are not expected out until late 2019 in PCs and 2020 in servers".
