ScanSource (SCSC) Misses Q3 EPS by 3c, Revenues Miss; Affirms Q4 EPS Guidance Below Consensus, Q4 Revenue Mid-Point Guidance Below Consensus
ScanSource (NASDAQ: SCSC) reported Q3 EPS of $0.77, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $893.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $943.7 million.
“We are pleased to continue to grow profits faster than sales, despite sales below our forecast due to a lower volume of big deals,” said Mike Baur, Chairman and CEO, ScanSource, Inc. “We are executing on our strategic plan to drive growth at higher-value margins with more recurring revenues for our sales partners.”
GUIDANCE:
ScanSource sees Q4 2019 EPS of $0.80-$0.86, versus the consensus of $0.93. ScanSource sees Q4 2019 revenue of $970-1030 million, versus the consensus of $1030 million.
