Envestnet (ENV) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c, Revenues Miss; Q2 EPS Views Below Consensus, Q2 Revenues Views Above Consensus, FY19 Revenue Views Above Consensus

Envestnet (NYSE: ENV) reported Q1 EPS of $0.39, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $145.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $201.38 million.

“In the first quarter, Envestnet grew revenue, adjusted EBITDA and adjusted earnings per share, overcoming the impact of challenging capital markets in the fourth quarter of 2018,” said Jud Bergman, Chairman and CEO.

“We continue to execute on our vision for enabling financial wellness, having recently formed the Advisor Credit Exchange and closed on our acquisition of PIEtech®, creator of MoneyGuide financial planning applications. We are focused on enabling advisors’ delivery of unified advice to their clients, as they achieve better financial outcomes and improve the lives of millions of investors,” concluded Mr. Bergman.

GUIDANCE:

Envestnet sees Q2 2019 EPS of $0.44, versus the consensus of $0.50. Envestnet sees Q2 2019 revenue of $223-226.5 million, versus the consensus of $219.55 million.

Envestnet sees FY2019 EPS of $2.08-$2.15, versus the consensus of $2.13. Envestnet sees FY2019 revenue of $902-912 million, versus the consensus of $885.5 million.
