Portland General Electric (POR) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c, Revenues Beat; Affirms FY19 EPS Guidance

Portland General Electric (NYSE: POR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.82, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.77. Revenue for the quarter came in at $573 million versus the consensus estimate of $520.54 million.

"Against the backdrop of highly volatile regional energy markets, our power supply portfolio performed well, allowing us to effectively manage costs and deliver solid results," said Maria Pope, PGE president and CEO. "Additionally, we are advancing our transportation electrification plan to expand infrastructure and increase access vital to cleaner energy for Oregon."

GUIDANCE:

Portland General Electric sees FY2019 EPS of $2.35-$2.50, versus the consensus of $2.44.
