Ross Stores (ROST) Tops Q4 EPS by 7c, Offers Q1 and FY Guidance
Ross Stores (NASDAQ: ROST) reported Q4 EPS of $1.20, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $1.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.11 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.05 billion.

Ross Stores sees FY2019 EPS of $4.30-$4.50, versus the consensus of $4.50.
For the 52 weeks ending February 1, 2020, the Company is planning same store sales to grow 1% to 2% on top of 4% gains in each of the past four years.
Ross Stores sees Q1 EPS of $1.05-$1.11, versus the consensus of $1.18.
Given the recent underperformance in Ladies apparel, we are forecasting comparable store sales for the 13 weeks ending May 4, 2019 to be flat to up 2%
