Edgewell Personal Care Company (EPC) Tops Q1 EPS by 14c, Evaluating Strategic Alternatives for its Feminine Care and Infant Care Businesses

Edgewell Personal Care Company (NYSE: EPC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.37, $0.14 better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $457.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $445.54 million.

GUIDANCE:

Edgewell Personal Care Company sees FY2019 EPS of $3.30-$3.60, versus the consensus of $3.40.

In order to best position the Company for growth and value creation, the Company is exploring strategic alternatives for the Feminine Care and Infant Care businesses, including the potential sale of one or both businesses.
