Taiwan Semi (TSM) Reports In-Line Q4 EPS, Q1 Revenue Guidance Misses Views

Taiwan Semi (NYSE: TSM) reported Q4 EPS of $0.63, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $9.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $9.36 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Taiwan Semi sees Q1 2019 revenue of $7.3-7.4 billion, versus the consensus of $7.86 billion.

  • Gross profit margin is expected to be between 43% and 45%;
  • Operating profit margin is expected to be between 31% and 33%
