Apple (AAPL) Not Working on Car Despite Tesla (TSLA) Executive Steal - Global Equities' Chowdhry
Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry doesn't think Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is working on a car despite poaching Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) car designer Andrew Kim.
"Our research continues to indicate that AAPL is not working on Apple Car, the Project Titan has morphed into Apple Car Play Generation 2.0," Chowdhry commented.
He highlighted:
- Very likely Apple rehired Andrew Kim to Fix the Design of Apple Home Pod, which looks like a Toilet Paper Roll, and Apple Home Pod has been a complete failure
- Andrew Kim will be working under Doug Fields, who failed miserable with Model 3 Ramp, and was fired by TSLA
- ...Can you imagine, if Doug Fields was still at TSLA, Model 3 and TSLA would have been dead by now
- It was Elon Musk, who pulled the production from 1,000 Model 3's to >5,000 Model 3's per week
The analyst said Apple's stock lacks revenue catalysts and innovation is dead at the company. Meanwhile, Tesla's Model 3 is the new iPhone and Tesla the new Apple.
He said at sometime in future, "it is possible that AAPL may acquire TSLA and rename itself as TSLA, with Elon Musk replacing Technologically handicapped Tim Cook and Jony Ive"
