Today's Pre-Open Movers

Adial Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADIL) 37.3% HIGHER; announced plans to expand activities around the Company’s lead asset, AD04, beyond alcohol use disorder (AUD), to now include its potential use in patients with opioid use disorder.

Applied Genetic Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: AGTC) 34.5% LOWER; reported topline interim six-month data from its Phase 1/2 clinical trial of rAAV2tYF-CB-hRS1, an investigational AAV-based gene therapy delivered via intravitreal injection for X-linked retinoschisis (XLRS) due to mutations in the RS1 gene. Results from the study show that rAAV2tYF-CB-hRS1 is generally safe and well-tolerated, but no signs of clinical activity were observed at six-months. As per the study protocol, AGTC will continue to monitor enrolled patients at scheduled visits through the end of the study.

Tailored Brands (NYSE: TLRD) 26.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.01, versus $0.00 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $812.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $829.15 million. Tailored Brands sees FY2018 EPS of $2.30-$2.35.

Fred's (NASDAQ: FRED) 12.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.83), versus ($1.35) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $306.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $402.4 million

VBI Vaccines Inc. (NASDAQ: VBIV) 10.8% LOWER; announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of its common shares. VBI also intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the number of common shares offered in the public offering. Ciena (NYSE: CIEN) 6.6% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.53, versus the consensus of $0.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $899.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $861.48 million

Hannon Armstrong (NYSE: HASI) 3.9% LOWER; announced today that it is commencing a public offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock. The Company expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 750,000 additional shares of common stock.
