Keysight Technologies Delivers HDMI Forum Approved Solution to Allion Japan Inc. for Certification Test Services

Keysight HDMI 2.1 test solution supports 8K/10K video transmission and up to 48Gbp bandwidth

SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS), a leading technology company that helps enterprises, service providers, and governments accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world, announced that Allion Japan Inc. has selected Keysight’s High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) 2.1 test solution for Allion’s HDMI 1.4b, 2.0b, and 2.1 physical layer certification test services.

Keysight’s HDMI 2.1 test solution, approved by the HDMI Forum, consists of the company’s Infiniium Oscilloscope, the M8195A Arbitrary Waveform Generator and Vector Network Analyzer, providing high reliability, as well as efficient and reproduceable test results.

In November 2017, the HDMI Forum released the newest HDMI standard version 2.1 supporting 8K/10K video transmission and up to 48Gbps bandwidth, which delivers high resolution, fast refresh rate video data transfer, along with an Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC). Keysight’s HDMI 2.1 test solution covers all electric characteristic tests of eARC in the compliance test specification released in August 2018.

Allion provides the Authorized Test Center (ATC) test service of HDMI 2.1/1.4b as an ATC of Sony Corporation (Gotanda Lab). Along with HDMI, Allion certifies, IMAX Enhanced, Display Port, UHDA, HDR10+ audio and visual related standards, and provides professional engineering services.
