UnitedHealth Group (UNH) Tops Q3 EPS by 12c, Revenues Beat; Lifts FY18 EPS Guidance Above Consensus

UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) reported Q3 EPS of $3.41, $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of $3.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $56.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $56.34 billion.
- Revenues of $56.6 Billion Grew 12% Year-Over-Year
- Earnings from Operations Grew 12% to $4.6 Billion
- Cash Flows from Operations were $0.9 Billion; Adjusted Cash Flows from Operations were $6.1 Billion, or 1.9x Net Earnings
- Net Earnings of $3.24 Per Share Grew 29% Year-Over-Year
- Adjusted Net Earnings of $3.41 Per Share Grew 28% Year-Over-Year

GUIDANCE:
UnitedHealth Group sees FY2018 EPS of $12.80, versus prior guidance of $12.50-$12.75 and the consensus of $12.70.
