Ulta Salon (ULTA) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c, Q3 EPS Guidance Misses Views
Ulta Salon (NASDAQ: ULTA) reported Q2 EPS of $2.46, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $2.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.49 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.49 billion.
Comparable sale increased 6.5% compared to an increase of 11.7% in the second quarter of fiscal 2017.
GUIDANCE:
Ulta Salon sees Q3 2018 EPS of $2.11-$2.16, versus the consensus of $2.31. Ulta Salon sees Q3 2018 revenue of $1.55-1.563 billion, versus the consensus of $1.54 billion.
Comparable sales for the third quarter of fiscal 2018, including e-commerce sales, are expected to increase 7% to 8%.
